Kemal Suhaya

Kemal Putra Suhaya (b. 2003), is an artist from Jakarta, Indonesia. He comes from an artist family, he completed his education at the Senior High School of Fine Arts in Yogyakarta (SMSR) and continued his studies at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. In 2022, He was elected as the Director of Arts & Culture of Laskar, an Indonesian student organization within NAFA. Currently, he holds the title of Co-Director of Siji Art Management, a family-owned art management company in Indonesia.

He has several achievements, like the Merit Award at the 13-19 Art Prize by TRCL Singapore. Kemal has showcased his artworks in collaborative art exhibitions in Singapore and Indonesia since 2019. In 2024, at the age of 21, he showcased his first Solo Exhibition at The Westin Hotel Jakarta, Indonesia.
As a young artist, he chooses self-reflection as a source of creative inspiration, hoping to awaken new hearts and energy in those around him. Thereby, evoking sub-consciousness through the language of art.
